Casual Pint Northshore Gift Card for Food & Beer Lovers
November 1, 2026The Casual Pint of Northshore is calling in the ladder truck for its 4th Annual Turkey Drop, a Tap4Good fundraiser on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. The Knoxville craft beerstro is partnering with the Knoxville Firefighters Association, and every dollar from the night benefits Camp Hope, a free summer camp for children who have survived burn injuries.
What is the Turkey Drop at The Casual Pint of Northshore?
The Casual Pint Northshore Turkey Drop is a Thanksgiving Eve fundraiser modeled after the famous WKRP in Cincinnati holiday episode, where a radio station’s turkey giveaway goes memorably wrong. The Northshore version keeps the laughs, adds a proper landing zone, and turns every drop into support for kids who need it. This year, the turkeys are going higher than ever: a Knoxville fire ladder truck will be on site, and turkeys will be dropped from its extended ladder toward a target on the ground. The one that lands closest to the bullseye wins a prize package, with details to be announced.
How do I reserve a duck for the Turkey Drop?
Ducks can be reserved online or at the store for $5 each, and every dollar benefits Camp Hope. Reserve yours online through The Casual Pint of Northshore’s order page, or pick one up in person at 2045 Thunderhead Road in Knoxville. Come early, drop a duck for a good cause, and stay for dinner and the game.
Who does the Turkey Drop benefit?
All proceeds benefit Camp Hope, a free week of summer camp for children ages 6 to 16 who have experienced burn injuries. Campers enjoy classic camp activities and make friends alongside kids who understand what they have been through. Nurses, firefighters and adult burn survivors serve as counselors, and the camp is funded entirely by community donations. The Knoxville Firefighters Association, which represents Knoxville’s professional firefighters, is a major supporter of the camp and a partner for this year’s drop.
The Turkey Drop is part of Tap4Good, The Casual Pint’s franchise-wide initiative to support local communities. Each Casual Pint location is independently owned, and The Casual Pint of Northshore chooses a cause close to its own community each year.
Can I stay for food and the Packers game?
Yes. The fun wraps up at 8 p.m., just in time for kickoff of the NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game, the Green Bay Packers at the Los Angeles Rams. Packers fans, including the Knoxville Packer Backers who call The Casual Pint of Northshore home and have generously supported past Turkey Drops, are invited to come early and stay. Grab a Hop Pocket Reuben, shareable plates or something from the Kids Menu, and settle in for the game. Alcohol is served only to guests 21 and older.
“Our firefighters show up for this community every single day, and the Turkey Drop is our chance to show up for the kids they care so much about,” said Lindsey Davis, co-owner of The Casual Pint of Northshore. “Four years in, this has become one of our favorite nights of the year. It’s a little goofy, it’s very festive, and every dollar goes toward giving a child a week at camp that they’ll never forget.”
